We Are

Do you ever make mistakes, and fail to take the blame?
Do you watch yourself, while others wail with shame?
I don't think I want find we are, products of our age.
I have my faults, but we are not the same.

I have walked on selfish roads.
Both through servitude and pain.
But lets not try and get ourselves lost,
On opportunists in the frame.

But when its over, said, and done,
And the spotlight leaves the stage.
I'll watch myself and I hope we're not the same.

And it's always hard, to find your way
In a room that's dark
And a path that changed
And as I stand on familiar ground
It's the delta I want and the love I've found.
